Together, the MN Department of Agriculture and the MN DNR have helped create the Minnesota State Management Plan for Invasive Species. See the plan here:

The MN DNR has created a Rapid Response Plan to be used when a new infestation of AIS is found in a waterbody. See the plan here:
2020 Cass AIS Update
Cass County provided an update on AIS activities for 2020. See the report below:
Cass County AIS Plan
The Cass County AIS Plan, which was created by a task force of government, lake associations, and business leaders, has been approved. The Cass County SWCD (Soil and Water Conservation District) will be the leader in implementing this plan. Cass County ESD, MN DNR, Leech Lake Ojibwe and ACCL will be partners in the implementation. 06/27/2014 - Sample AIS Plan for Lake Associations
John Bogard of Thunder Lake Association has created a template for a lake association AIS prevention plan. This template can be used as a 'starting block' for your lake association to create your own AIS prevention plan. These type of plans may become very important as we receive further funding for AIS activities. Feel free to start with John's template and add, delete, or modify it as you see fit. You can use some, all, or none of it. Good luck ! !

09/10/2014 - "Fill-in-the-blank" AIS plan for lake associations
Jerry Lerom, President of ACCL, has created a 'fill-in-the-blank' template for a lake association AIS prevention plan. This template can be used to augment the Cass County AIS Plan. Feel free to start with Jerry's template and fill in the blanks. Good luck ! !
